AutoVM platform Installation
At first, you need to download the AutoVM platform from the LAB and then upload it to somewhere (Host control panel; such as CPanel or DirectAdmin) of your server and extract it for install.
Open your browser and go to the installation URL
at first, step approves our terms of service and then enter DataBase details for the platform with Admin Email address and password for Login.
Add Dedicated Server
In the third page of the installation, enter your ESXI Login details and if you use VCenter server, enter it too, but if you do not have VCenter server, It's not necessary to full this part.
At the Licence Key part, enter your Licence Key you get after your order in the AutoVM Client area, if you want to try in the trial mode, click on the create trial license button.
At the end click on the save and next button, but if you want to add other servers, use the save and add another server button.
Add IP Address
in this part, click on the plus button + and complete the part such as information:
At the first part, enter your first usable IP Address and in the second part, enter the last usable IP address
Attention: if you want to add an IP address, just enter the first part (From IP) and skip the second part.
If you need the MAC Address, enter that after successful installation.
Go to the File Manager and remove the install directory from public_html/autovm/web/ and then click on the finish button

You must enable your ESXI SSH server and for having a VM Console, enable the gdbserver in the VMware Vsphere Client. To enable this option, Select the Configuration tab, locate and open the Software list box, then select Security Profile. In the Firewall section, select the Properties link to display the Firewall Properties dialog. In the dialog, scroll to and select GDBServer, then click OK.
Change your Datastores name to the datastoreX such as change datastore name instruction
Finally, in the ESXI Server, change the name of all existing machines to their IP Address(for example, rename a machine named ubuntu-192.168.1.3 to the VM IP (192.168.1.3).
For check the system works properly on the ESXI server, go to the Dedicated Servers section and click on the view icon that appears with the magnifying and checks that all items are displayed OK and otherwise click on Option Description for each error.
After launching the AutoVM panel, if you want to use the bandwidth monitoring service, Create Cronjob
If your network card has other names than VM Network, first go to the Dedicated servers section and edit the server, in the Network Label section, enter the name of the server's network card.
WHMCS Modules installation
If you encounter an error while installing the WHMCS module, please read the WHMCS module installation error page.
At first, in the AutoVM Admin area, go to the APIs section and click on the Create New option.
To launch the WHMCS AutoVM module, download the WHMCS plugin from the LAB and then paste it into the main directory of the WHMCS script:
Go to the directory below and edit the autovm.class.php file:
Modify the following:
const URL = 'http://yourwebsite/autovm/api';
Go to the WHMCS Admin section and following address:
setup -> Products/Services -> Servers
Click on the Add New Server button.
In the Name field, enter autovm.
In the Hostname section, enter your panel address such as:
- In the IP Address box, do not enter any statement.
Then, in the Type menu, select Autovm and enter your API key in the Username field.
In the password box, do not enter any statement.
Click Save Changes to capture the information inside the system.
