To add a template on the AutoVM platform, first install VMware tools on your template.

Go to AutoVM admin area and select the Operating Systems option.

Click Create New.

In the Name field, enter a name to display for clients. (For example: Ibsng, Ubuntu 14.04, ...)

In the Type field, enter the name of the VM template on the server (for example: windows_2003_32 without any space)

In the Operation system section, select the operating system.

Note: in the Microsoft operating systems, after starting up, first enable the remote desktop, then enable ping and remote desktop access from the firewall settings.

You are not able to change keyboard layout or language, It should be English and qwerty.
The VM must have one disk.
If your ESXi server is old and doesn't support the new os such as windows 2019, You can chose older version of OS in AutoVM.
